Pietro Seghi and Antonio Acocella
Antonio Acocella and Pietro Seghi founded Studio AFSa in Florence in 2017. The studio works on residential, commercial, cultural, and interior design projects and has participated in many international architectural and urban design competitions. Recurring themes in their work include the dialogue between new architecture and existing historical and environmental structures, educational facilities, and places of worship.
In their talk ‘Rewriting: Heritage as a Pretext’, Pietro and Antonio will present their methodological approach to building heritage and the existing fabric, considering it not a constraint but the main catalyst of the design process.
