SE VOGLIAMO CHE TUTTO RIMANGA COM’E’, BISOGNA CHE TUTTO CAMBI
Today, our historic cities are under pressure more than ever before. Tourism, development, changing working practices, and rising rents all put pressure on the balance of city life. Our cities cannot be allowed to become open-air museums; they have to be inhabited working places. Cities grow organically and are in a constant state of flux. Change is inevitable and important if we are to keep them alive; controlling change sustainably and appropriately is the challenge we face. Looking at his practice’s work in London, Mike will share some lessons from a city that has gone through numerous cycles of development and change.
